SURVEY

This survey, conducted with approximately 150 participants, examined patterns of technology use and its effects on emotional well-being and daily life. The findings indicate that a majority of respondents use technology as a coping mechanism for stress or negative emotions, either frequently or occasionally. Additionally, nearly half of the participants reported that technology use negatively affects their sleep or daily responsibilities. Usage duration data further reveal that most respondents spend more than four hours per day on digital devices, highlighting the pervasive role of technology in everyday life and its potential impact on personal well-being.

METHODS TO CONTROL TECHNOLOGY ADDICTION

1) Adjust daily internet usage hours.

2) Create weekly internet usage schedules and ensure they are followed.

3) Implement support-based approaches such as support groups or family therapy.

4) Encourage individuals to write down activities they want to do but have not had time for, and suggest choosing one of these activities when they feel a strong urge to use the internet.
